DESCRIPTION:In 2021\, the Virginia General Assembly enacted an extensive change to Virginia law\, intended to “legalize” marijuana. These changes\, which will take place in several steps over the next few years\, include several new laws that will take effect July 1\, 2021 and have raised several questions from prosecutors and law enforcement.
