DESCRIPTION:CIIFER: ZERO DAY is CASC’s new basic digital evidence course for prosecutors and law enforcement. Immediately preceding CASC’s annual CIIFER electronic evidence conference\, ZERO DAY is a one-day\, basic course to introduce basic legal and technical concepts to newcomers to digital evidence collection. The program will include prosecutor and law enforcement instructors. Registration is open to prosecutors and law enforcement who are seeking very basic instruction on the fundamental legal and technical concepts involved in collecting and analyzing digital evidence. \nAttendees will be responsible for making and paying for their own hotel reservation\, and CASC will not be reimbursing travel expenses. \nClick here to register. \nFor more information\, contact Elliott J. SUMMARY:Prosecutor Bootcamp: A Comprehensive Training for the New Prosecutor
DESCRIPTION:Prosecutor Bootcamp is a week-long intensive training for the new prosecutor.  It will be held in Staunton\, Virginia. This program is open to prosecutors with three years or less experience. Specific topics to be covered include trial skills\, evidentiary issues\, practice in General District and Juvenile & Domestic Relations District Court\, work-life balance\, and legal writing\, among others. \nLodging will be provided for attendees whose offices are more than twenty-five miles from the program venue.  Meals will be provided or reimbursed\, but mileage to and from the program is not covered. \nOnce you have registered\, you will receive a confirmation email with further details. This training is limited to 30 students who will be accepted on a first come\, first served basis\, with a preference for one attendee per jurisdiction. SUMMARY:Leadership Training
DESCRIPTION:This one-day leadership development course designed for Virginia’s management and senior-level prosecutors promotes the learning of leadership habits and practices ideally suited to improve productivity\, professional achievement\, office culture\, and employee engagement and retention.  Attendees will work in groups to create a leadership plan that strategically combines personal motivations\, strengths\, emotional intelligence\, and leadership behaviors. Each plan will be uniquely tailored to address the attendees’ experience\, responsibilities\, and aspirations. \nThis program is open to all supervisory level Virginia prosecutors.
