DESCRIPTION:A two day intensive training for Virginia  J&DR prosecutors. The program focuses on juvenile court practice & procedure and dealing with juvenile delinquency.   Specific topics to be covered include juvenile brain development\, juvenile trials & sentencing options\, DJJ length of stay guidelines\, substance abuse and juveniles\, transfer/certification issues\, juvenile sex-offenders and competency issues.
