SUMMARY:Red Flag Program: Money Talks – Financial Literacy and Fraud Investigations
DESCRIPTION:CASC is proud to announce that registration is open for a new\, intensive 3-day training for Prosecutors\, Virginia State Police Special Agents\, and Insurance SIU Investigators on the topic of investigating and prosecuting fraud in Virginia. This program is funded by Virginia State Police as its annual “Red Flag” insurance fraud training\, which focuses on different aspects of fraud each year. This year\, the program will focus on obtaining and using financial records in financial and fraud investigations and will cover financial investigations\, obtaining and using financial records\, financial interviews and interrogations\, building financial cases\, and working with prosecutors. Some\, but not all\, sessions will be repeated from previous “Red Flag” insurance fraud trainings. \nThe program is free and is held October 14 – 16\, 2025 in Williamsburg\, VA. Lodging will be provided for attendees whose office is twenty-five miles or more from the training venue. Meals will be reimbursed at state per diem rate.
