She reviewed the agenda and described presentations, including that CASC is recognizing upcoming Attorney Wellness Week (the first week in May) by providing a presentation on Attorney Wellbeing on Wednesday morning. Ms. Chambers commented that this is the second year that Spring Institute has been presented online because of the state of emergency. The 2022 Spring Institute is scheduled to be held at the Richmond Convention Center live and in person.

Special Committee on “Duties & Responsibilities” Outline Update
Ms. Chambers reported that she, Ms. Howie and Mr. Casey met with a recently retired Deputy Commonwealth’s Attorney to determine if he would be interested in working as a contractor to update and reorganize the “Duties & Responsibilities” outline. They shared with him all the work that had already been done to get the project started. After several days, Ms. Chambers was advised that this individual declined the project. Ms. Chambers asked members to forward to her names of qualified individuals who might be interested in completing this project.
