Call to Order
Mr. Haislip called the meeting to order at 1:30 p.m.
Current CATF Balance Sheet
The Committee reviewed the current CATF balance sheet for consideration of the
FY2027 CASC budget.
FY2026 Budget & Actual Expenses
The Committee reviewed FY2026 Budget set in June of 2025 and the actual expenditures. The Committee noted that CASC operated under budget in 2025 due to a number of factors, including weather-related cost savings, offices not seeking reimbursement for CASC’s 2026 Spring Institute, and CASC savings at several programs. These factors were taken into consideration for the FY2027 CASC budget.
FY2027 Proposed Combined Budget
CASC presented its proposed combined budget for FY2027. The committee voted
unanimously to recommend the budget to the CASC Council for consideration at its July
30, 2026 meeting in Virginia Beach.
2026 Spring Institute Reimbursement Random Audit ~ Current Status
Ms. Debord indicated that CASC has completed its random audit of jurisdictions seeking
reimbursement from the 2026 CASC Spring Institute. She indicated that CASC found no
issues in its audit and commended all of the offices participating in the audit for quick
and complete responses.
