Prosecutor Civil Practice: Advanced Asset Forfeiture & Civil Process in ESRO, Sealing, and Expungement Cases

CASC is excited to share a new free training for Virginia prosecutors and Virginia law enforcement officers, “Prosecutor Civil Practice: Advanced Asset Forfeiture & Civil Process in ESRO, Sealing, and Expungement Cases.” This advanced program is intended for prosecutors who litigate asset forfeiture cases, emergency substantial risk order (ESRO) cases, and engage in litigation regarding sealing and expungement.

Please note that this class is intended as advanced training for lawyers with experience in these matters. CASC offers and will continue to offer basic and introductory training in asset forfeiture cases, emergency substantial risk order (ESRO) cases, and sealing and expungement in the future.

This two-day training will take place Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at CASC’s Training Facility in downtown Richmond.

This training is sponsored by the Virginia Criminal Justice Foundation. Lunch and parking at the Truist Building will be provided courtesy of the Virginia Criminal Justice Foundation.

This program is open to all Virginia prosecutors. The program is free of charge. No reimbursement will be provided for this training for lodging, mileage, meals or any other expenses.
